Yes! Microneedling pairs well with treatments like PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy, chemical peels, or light therapy to enhance your results. Our team can customize a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Does microneedling hurt?
A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to ensure comfort. Most clients report feeling only a mild prickling sensation during the treatment.
Will I have any down time?
After microneedling, you may experience mild redness and sensitivity, like a mild sunburn, which typically subsides within 24-72 hours.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of sessions depends on your specific goals and skin condition. While some clients see noticeable results after one session, a series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is often recommended for optimal results.
Can I wear makeup after my procedure?
It is recommended that you do not wear any form of makeup for 24-48 hours due to risk of infection. We do however recommend that you wear protective sunscreen (not in makeup) after 24 hours of your service.
When will I see results?
You can expect to see results within 4-6 weeks, but you may start noticing a firmer, tighter feeling in your skin within just a few weeks of treatment.
What are the after care instructions?
After microneedling, you may experience mild redness and sensitivity, similar to a mild sunburn, which typically subsides within 24-72 hours.
For the first 72 hours, it is crucial to avoid swimming pools, saunas, and activities that cause heavy sweating, including intense gym workouts, to protect your newly treated skin. After this initial period, you may gradually resume these activities.
Limit prolonged sun exposure for 7 days following your treatment to avoid any potential damage.
Continue to apply sunscreen everyday for the first month following your treatment.
